Fund Accounting Manager


The Fund Account Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing the administration, accounting, and regulatory compliance of investment funds domiciled in Luxembourg. This position serves as a key point of contact for clients and stakeholders, ensuring efficient fund operations and delivering high-quality service.



Key Responsibilities



  • Oversee and manage the accounting, reporting, and day-to-day operations of multiple investment funds
  • Responsible for review and oversight of accounting work performed from outsourcing centers (mainly Dublin)
  • Liaise with clients, auditors, and regulators to ensure compliance with Luxembourg's financial regulations and industry best practices
  • Prepare and review financial statements, NAV calculations, and periodic reports for investors, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • To oversee investor onboarding process
  • Coordinate with tax advisors to ensure funds are in compliance with local and international tax laws
  • Participate in the development of fund structures
  • Manage client relationships, maintaining regular communication and resolving any issues that arise
  • Supervise junior staff, providing guidance and training as needed to develop their skills and enhance team performance
  • Evaluate and improve internal processes to increase efficiency and accuracy in fund accounting and reporting activities


Skills, Knowledge and Expertise



  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in fund accounting or fund administration, preferably within the Luxembourg investment fund sector
  • Strong knowledge of Luxembourg fund regulations and compliance requirements
  • Knowledge in Investran accounting software would be advantage
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment
