Chief Financial Officer – Series A Robotics

Our client is a dynamic, fast-growing robotics scale-up headquartered in Germany. They are at the forefront of innovation, developing cutting-edge robotics solutions. They are a Venture capital funded business and a key part of this role will take responsibility for fundraising activities along with the Founders.

Role Overview:

As their Chief Financial Officer, you will play a pivotal role in driving their company's financial strategy and ensuring its sustainable growth. You will play a key part in the upcoming Series B fundraising round and be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the business, from budgeting, strategic leadership, forecasting to investor relations and risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and execute comprehensive financial plans, budgets, and forecasts to support strategic objectives.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Investor Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, financial analysts, and other stakeholders.
• Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks to protect the company's assets.
• Treasury Management: Manage cash flow, investments, and debt to optimise capital structure.
• Team Leadership: Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing finance team.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• MBA or CFA preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in senior finance roles, ideally in a high-growth company.
• Proven track record of financial management, strategic planning, and successful fundraising.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English and German is essential.
