To support their continued growth, they are seeking a motivated and strategic Customer Service Manager (m/f/d) to join their team in Hamburg.

Position Summary

As the Customer Service Manager, you will serve as the central interface between customers and internal teams, ensuring a seamless service experience. You will lead a team of customer service professionals, optimise service processes, handle key escalations, and drive initiatives that enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the customer service team to ensure high performance and customer satisfaction
  • Serve as the main point of contact between customers and internal departments
  • Optimise customer service processes and work flows for efficiency and effectiveness
  • Monitor service KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives
  • Handle escalated customer issues and ensure timely resolution
  • Support the company's sustainability and innovation goals through strategic service initiatives
  • Utilise CRM systems to manage customer relationships and analyse performance data
  • Collaborate with logistics and operations teams to deliver seamless service
Required Qualifications

  • Several years of experience in a senior customer service or related managerial role
  • Background in logistics, freight forwarding, or transportation is a strong advantage
  • Completed degree or vocational training in business administration, communication, or service management
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient with CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Fluent in German and proficient in English
  • Solution-oriented, innovative, and open to taking on responsibility
