Our 41 production and engineering sites across 18 countries enable us to offer global support to our customers along the entire product life cycle and across all automotive segments. Based on our long-standing technical expertise and application know-how, we are able to provide customized products, system solutions and services for even for the most challenging customer requirements.

In this technologically demanding and highly competitive market environment, we strive to grow in a focused and profitable manner in the coming years. This requires further professionalization of our Logistics organization, which is why we are looking for an experienced and qualified manager (m/f/d) as Senior Director Supply Chain Management/SCM Europe.

In this challenging position, you will be responsible for the strategic direction, operational management and growth-oriented development of our logistics organization (500 employees in 16 plants / 9 countries) in our largest and most important region, Europe. Based on our growth and profitability targets, you will develop a logistics footprint through procedural and technological measures that is holistically balanced and scalable and at the same time takes regional location strengths/special features into account. You ensure the achievement of our logistics targets and – regarding KPI achievement – continuously drive forward optimizations in terms of efficiency, costs and quality. Furthermore, you provide operational impetus in the context of crisis management (congestion management, customer escalations, etc.). You will report directly to the VP Global Logistics of our Group and work closely with the President Europe, Global Logistics, Operations Europe and the Business Units.

As an experienced logistics professional from the automotive industry, you have several years of proven success in a similarly demanding position and have the range of methods and assertiveness required for this task. You have proven that you can manage, develop and successfully align a complex logistics division in a multi-site footprint. Your leadership and communication skills are exemplary, you are a motivator, coach and sparring partner for your employees, you network within the organization and are a confident point of contact for our external partners. We require international mobility and fluency in English (additional knowledge of German would be an advantage).
