Clinical Research Manager– Project Management (m/f/d) at the department of clinical research
Your responsibilities include facilitating the collaborative work on joint clinical research projects including interventional clinical trials, the implementation, execution and completion of clinical research projects in collaboration with internal and external partners, especially from Africa. You ensure that ethical and regulatory requirements are met, and targeted objectives are achieved in a timely manner.

Clinical Research Manager– Project Management (m/f/d) at the department of clinical research
Your responsibilities include facilitating the collaborative work on joint clinical research projects including interventional clinical trials, the implementation, execution and completion of clinical research projects in collaboration with internal and external partners, especially from Africa. You ensure that ethical and regulatory requirements are met, and targeted objectives are achieved in a timely manner.
- You will coordinate the collaborative work in clinical research projects including clinical trials and will closely work with the head of the Department of Clinical Research
- You shall be able to draft or support in the drafting of scientific documents, including but not limited to manuscripts for peer review journals, scientific reports, and presentations for congresses or conferences
- You are responsible for internal communication between stakeholders and regularly updates (essential) study documents, prepare status reports and keep the project team at BNITM, the sponsor, stakeholders informed on the development status of the project
- You will manage stakeholders and contractors from various fields and report to the sponsor
- In the context of implementing clinical trials, you define guidelines (including regulatory, ethical), areas of responsibility, risks, organization and procedures. Where applicable, you will ensure that Good Clinical Practice (GCP) is followed
- As part of the clinical trial activities, travels to African countries may be useful to engage with international partners
- Relevant professional experience (ideally at least 2 years) in the management of clinical research projects ideally having had exposure to interventional clinical trials
- Very good knowledge of spoken and written German and English
- Additional qualifications in regulatory clinical trials, French language skills, and work experience in sub-Saharan Africa are beneficial
- Independent and timely management of projects
- Intercultural communication skills
- Motivation and flexibility, team spirit, a positive mindset and a high frustration tolerance
- A fixed-term contract for 2 years full-time (or part time if preferred by the applicant) with the option of continued employment
- Remuneration according to TV-AVH (comparable to TVöD)
